In addition to the usual spectrographic analysis, you will receive a microscopic photo and detailed technical analysis of your used engine, gearbox or rear end oil. Spectro oil analysis is limited to 5 microns and smaller particles; Ferrography gives you ‘the rest of the story’! I have seen potential camshaft failures discovered with Ferro that would have gone un-noticed with just spectrographic oil analysis procedure. Ferro is not an analysis procedure one does every time but it is certainly worth doing at least once! You will be amazed with the information in this report!
